Experience & Specialisms:

Qualified in 1974, Peter worked as an International Investigations Manager with a top-ten firm of City Chartered Accountants. In 1979, he left to join a multi-national leisure business as Financial Director. The group was primarily owned by a Japanese company and after some years was sold to a quoted UK leisure group. When the sale was concluded, Peter left and took a short-term assignment with a national multi-franchise motor company before returning to the profession in 1988.

As a partner in a well established local firm, he has given advice to start-up businesses, management buy-outs and is fully aware of the complexities of share contracts. He is a Director of a large multi-national client with institutional investors represented on the Board.

Throughout his career, he has been called upon by both clients and other professionals for his expert advice and business valuations. He has acted as arbitrator in a number of confrontational disputes. Peter has also headed up the team on client company and business acquisitions and is currently involved in a management buyout.

Outside work:

Peter is a Rotarian, a committed Christian and is involved in a number of charities.

Experience & Specialisms:

Geoff has many years experience in all aspects of audit and general practice. He has worked in both small and large firms with his principal focus being the provision of support services for owner-managed businesses and inward investors. In addition to this core work, Geoff has had a significant level of exposure to the audit of the subsidiaries of both UK and overseas listed companies.

Working in both small and large practices, his principal focus is on the provision of support and advisory services for owner-managed businesses, both corporate and non-corporate.

As well as providing extensive support to facilitate the establishment of new businesses by UK individuals and inward-investors, he also has substantial experience of providing compliance services to UK business entities ranging in size from individuals turning over less than £20,000 to groups with turnovers in excess of £500m.

In addition to such compliance services, Geoff assists in a range of corporate finance activities including private equity fund-raising and M&A due diligence reviews and also takes a hands-on role by acting as financial controller for clients when appropriate.

Outside work:

Geoff is a BSA qualified diver which takes up much of his spare time and involves UK and overseas jaunts. When he comes to the surface his terrestrial interests include rugby, travel and the theatre.
